Nanhall Pet Spa Store Policies for Boarding and Grooming
Client hereby entrusts pet(s) to Nanhall Professional School of Grooming, INC (noted as Nanhall Pet Spa or Nanhall hereafter) for the purpose of boarding and grooming services.
Our establishment agrees to exercise due and reasonable care and to keep the premises sanitary and properly enclosed. Your pet will be fed, watered regularly, provided with proper exercise, and housed in safe, clean quarters.
Dogs: DHPP~ Bordetella~ Rabies Cats: FVRCP ~ Rabies
Owner Agrees to abide by all the polices & hours of Nanhall Pet Spa, including Holiday/Winter Hours as posted. Please respect our hours and understand this is for the safety and security of your pet.
Emergency Person must be able to pick up your pet or meet us at the Emergency Clinic. They must be able to do the following:
1. Make a medical decision 2. Have payment for the clinic 3. Stay with your pet.
Discharge Person is another person who can pick up your pet, other than you. Please list all people & family that can pick your pet.
To keep our facility clean, any Pet that is excessively dirty, or has flea or parasite infestation will be bathed and treated immediately, the owner is responsible for any charges incurred for this extra service.
I grant Nanhall Pet Spa, it’s representatives and employees, the right to take photographs of my pet and to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. We may use photographs of pet with purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.
For boarding there is a 12:00 pm check out time, after 12:00 pm another day is charged. Payment due when pet is checked in. Nanhall is not responsible for leashes, lost toys, bedding, food, etc. left with the pet.
Diet & Medication
Nanhall is committed to the health and well-being of your pet. Please portion the food per feeding in resealable containers. Kennel Food $2.00 per day. We will administer 2 medications with no fees. Additional Medication fee is $2.00 per medication
Owner agrees that they will NOT Abandon Pet. Nanhall has a lien on pet(s) for unpaid charges. Pets not claimed within 4 days of return date will be classified as abandoned and will become property of Nanhall. Nanhall may dispose of pet(s) for all unpaid charges, at private, public sale or to shelter or rescue group. If sale shall not secure a price adequate to pay charges delinquent, then Owner shall be liable for bill and any attorney's fees.
Illness, Medical and/or Behavior Problems & Pre- Existing Conditions
Owner will stipulate any Behavior or Pre-Existing Health Problems and be responsible for physical damage done by pet: to kennel (Damage fees start at $100.00), to himself, another pet, or person. As a result of his behavior, Special Handling Fees will be added to the bill. The owner will be responsible for those costs incurred.
If pet becomes ill or if the state of the animal’s health otherwise requires professional attention, Nanhall, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian. Owner is responsible for all veterinarian charges, transportation costs, medication fees. Owner hereby, authorizes Nanhall and the veterinarian to give immediate care. Every effort will be made to contact the Owner/ Emergency Person.
The pet is fit and healthy, grooming which takes place on an elderly, infirm or sedated pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Nanhall Pet Spa cannot be held liable. Payment is to be made at the time of service. Our rates are based on the breed of the pet and duration of the groom.
Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer. Nanhall uses ear powder to pluck the hair in pet’s ears. dogs with excessive ear hair may get an ear infection, because of the excessive hair. Some circumstances, there is a risk of nails bleeding, i.e., unruly, unmaintained nails. We do NOT offer anal gland expression, as this should be performed by a licensed veterinarian.
“De-matting" or complete coat removal on a severely matted will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems\ clipper burn\minor nicks for which Nanhall Professional School of Grooming, Inc. cannot be held liable.
Cancellation Policy And Additional Fees
A non-refundable $30.00 deposit on new clients. Cancellations must be made 48 hours before appointment, or you will forfeit deposit. No-Shows: It is considered a "no-show" when the client does not show at the scheduled appointment and does not contact the Nanhall to cancel or reschedule.
We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule, when possible, to avoid such situations.
Nanhall Reserves the right to charge additional fees for services we consider over and above the norm covered by our standard rates.
Special Handling Fee starting at $25.00 and up for unruly & elderly pets.
Special Handling Fee on Aggressive pets $50.00 & up per handling situation or day
Prepayments on grooms that have been no-shows.
Dogs picked up after hours will be charged $30.00. After 15 min we will close and board your pet overnight, a boarding fee & late fee will be added to the bill.
Special Opening Fee $75.00 & up
Veterinarian Charges (emergency and/or other) / Transportation Charges /Waiting Period Fees
Holiday Boarding Periods
A 30% Deposit for the estimated total of the scheduled stay is due at the time the reservation is made and will be applied to the cost of the boarding stay. If you cancel or change your reservation at least 72 hours before your scheduled arrival date, your deposit will be refunded or left as a credit on your account. Deposits will be forfeited if cancellations or changes are made less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date.
Right To Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any animal or person that might pose a threat or others to staff or themselves. Should a pet pose a threat to staff or to themselves at any time, Nanhall will contact owner to pick up pet. Within 24 hours Animal Control or a Veterinarian will be contacted to pick up pet. Owner will be responsible for all charges.
All Prices Represent the Cash Discount. Payment can be cash, or credit card charge plus a fee. Returned checks will incur a $35 charge. No Refunds or Exchanges.
Owner represents to Nanhall that Owner is the lawful owner of the Pet(s) and that Owner is fully authorized to enter into this agreement. All information about Owner and Pet in this agreement is true, accurate, and complete.
I have read Nanhall Polices and this contains the entire agreement between the parties. All terms and conditions of this Contract shall be binding on the heirs, administrators, personal representatives and assigns of the Owner and the Kennel for this visit and for all subsequent visits. Nanhall Reserves the right to update these policies at any time.
The services we provide are done so without liability for loss or damage from disease, death, running away, theft or fire, and/or from injury or damage done by your pet to himself, people, other animals, property, allergic reaction to medication dispensed by owner or vet, or other unavoidable causes. Due diligence and care are exercised.
