 Guidelines For Class

I agree to the following:

I agree that I have read & understand the Guidelines for Class and will comply with the requirements of Nanhall .


Entrance Requirements/ Tuition Refund Policy

•You must be 18 years of age.

•Pet Grooming can be a physically demanding job. You will be lifting pets. We recommend talking to your doctor about an exercise program that includes, hand, arm, back and leg strength.

•This class is an introductory class of grooming.

•Written tests, reading material, tasks, exercises, and assessments are given. You must do these assignments to advance in class.

•A $1600 deposit must accompany Application.

•Cancellations must be made 60 days before school starts or you will be charged a $1600.00 fee. No refunds after classes have begun.

•Rough handling of pets will not be tolerated.

•Nanhall reserves the right to reject an applicant for admission.

•We reserve the right to terminate enrollment of any person. See conditions of dismissal.


The Class

The services provided consist of an introductory course of training and education, which includes the following on daily basis:

Grooming & Bathing (of which is one or all):

•Bathing, Drying, Cleaning Ears, Cutting or Grinding of Nails, Clipper Work, Scissor Work, De-shedding, and Handling Dog Situations


Clean Up & Sanitation

•Cleaning and Disinfecting Areas of Grooming, Bathing, and Station Areas.

•Equipment Cleaning and Disinfecting

•Cleaning and Disinfecting Crates


Attendance Policy:

For All Classes, we require you to arrive 15 minutes prior to schedule time.

•You are required to be punctual.

•Excessive tardiness will be the cause for dismissal.

•Leaves are permitted, when necessary, if advance notice is provided.

•If you are going to be late or absent, you must notify the school by phone.


•This class requires you show responsibility by being present, on time and professional.

•Fast & Neat Class is a total of 24 days. Nanhall adds another 4 days to cover any missed days, if you are in good standing. (Meaning that a person has fulfilled all obligations.)

•Any amount of time missed during that scheduled class may not be rescheduled and those hours will be forfeited. No refund will be given.

•Improving Skills Class, any amount of time missed during that scheduled class may not be rescheduled you will forfeit those hours. No refund will be given.

Conduct:

•No cell phones allowed in class.

•No Children allowed in class area.

•Instructors will at times have to touch your hand, back, arm, head, parts of body, etc. to show you the proper angle of handling a pet, how to stand, and/or learning how to use equipment.

•Your work area will be cleaned daily. To include: the cleaning of your table, blades, floor, etc. In general, your work area should be left in a condition that would start you in a clean environment every morning.
